Seen as a victory by American anti-vaccine advocates and as an historic admission by the US government that vaccines cause autism, the Department of Health & Human Services recently conceded in a lawsuit that five vaccines simultaneously given to a Georgia girl, Hannah Poling when she was 19 months old, “aggravated a rare underlying metabolic condition that resulted in a brain disorder with features of autism spectrum disorder”. The sick crap about these vaccine cases is that you cannot sue the manufacturers directly. They are held in a special vaccine “court” and the best outcome possible even in there is to get some money from a federal vaccine fund. Even if a person believes the government is good and loving, and of course, there are people who do lie to milk some payments for themselves, but this unreasonable scorched earth policy is the smoking gun proof in this pudding of the Siamese twin style relationship between the government and the drug companies.
The government and medical associations insist that vaccines are 100% safe, and that there’s zero proof of any link between them and autism, despite all of the evidence pointing in the opposite direction. Safe? Hell, maybe the government’s right and what happened to little Hannah Poling is just an isolated case. Maybe not, though. Judicial Watch found, through a Freedom of Information Act request, that there were over 8,000 adverse reaction reports related to Merck’s HPV Gardasil vaccine in the two years since it has been approved for girls. These include the experiences of: Jamie Venice, who passed out and had a seizure after her shot, and three others who got paralyzed after theirs, and fifteen deaths to top it all off. The FDA, in an email to CBS, said none of these events are surprising to them, nor are the faintings that are “a common event” with teens and young adults after vaccinations. I bet if you asked the FDA about the Russian spy guy who had all the radioactive poison in his body before he died, they’d have said he was Olympic ready!
In America the debate is swirling and swarming. What’s causing the blaze of autism rate increases? It’s so mysterious. In 1990 the national rate of autism was 1 in 166 children. Now it’s 1 in 150. Yes, you guessed right, I’m going to bring up mercury. Jim Donnelly, father of a boy who developed autism after taking his shots (pun intended) says that when he got tested, 20 times the EPA safety limit of mercury was found in his body. Actually, no amount of mercury is safe. Some children’s bodies dump most of it out, but others don’t and these end up as the many sad statistics. This is why, when Dr. Mady Hornig of Columbia University did his own mercury-autism link experiment, he found this:
Hornig injected a strain of mice with genetic tissues similar to those found in children with mercury-laden vaccines equivalent to what kids got in the 1990’s. The mice developed profound brain problems.
So what types of behavior did Hornig see in the mice, and how does that compare with what we call autism? Dr. Hornig answers, “All sorts of strange behaviors that were repetitive in nature, where animals would just keep repeating the same behavior in a very stereotyped fashion.”
It wasn’t just repetition — the mice withdrew from their surroundings like autistic children. They resisted change and developed brain abnormalities affecting emotion and thinking, also like autistic children.
The National Autism Association is thinking along similar lines, questioning the validity of one of the studies saying that mercury containing ingredient thimerosal has no link to autism that the AMA and FDA no doubt love to throw in the faces of those disputing the official story about vaccines. PR Newswire reports:
“This study presents a greatly over-simplified explanation of a very complex
problem,” according to NAA board chair Claire Bothwell. “Rising numbers do
not confirm that thimerosal never had a role. We now know that many autistic
children suffer from heavy metal toxicity, but body burden testing for mercury
and other toxins has never occurred, despite numerous requests to the CDC and
NIH from parents.”
They raise some very good questions.
– Why do so many children regress into autism after receiving vaccines,
subsequently have symptoms of heavy metal toxicity, then get better when
mercury is removed through chelation?– How can mercury and other toxic metals be removed from the bodies of our
children more safely and efficiently?– What biological abnormalities exist that cause some individuals to be
unable to detoxify heavy metals?
They pretty much answered their first one themselves. Thimerosal, the preservative in vaccines, is 50% mercury by weight. The FDA (right above the reference part) tells you this on its own website. It is just one of many newts in a nasty little witch’s brew of ingredients. The Philadelphia Bulletin writer just talks about this like it’s so everyday. “Vaccines for shingles and the chicken pox also make use of aborted fetal cells. Although the vaccines themselves do not contain cells or tissues, they are grown on cells. For example, Hepatitis B is grown on fungal yeast cells. And the polio vaccine, in addition to being grown on aborted-fetal cells, is grown on monkey kidney cells.”
Am I the only one dropping f bombs like it’s World War 2 or what?
Other ingredients, as listed on cdc.gov are aluminum, another heavy metal linked to breast cancer and Alzheimer’s, MSG, the excitotoxin which literally gets braincells so hyper that they die, and formaldehyde, which blocks RNA from fully forming and is used to preserve corpses because it kills most fungi and bacteria.
Mercury itself is a highly potent neurotoxin. In the sardine can I call home, New York, It is illegal to dispose of rechargable batteries. Why? The “City” says: “While rechargeable batteries reduce waste and can be more economical than regular household batteries, they may contain mercury, cadmium, lead and other heavy metals.”
These things are like the size of my pinky. What’s so wrong about them? It seems they are officially classified as a level 59 biohazard. Just kidding. But the Illinois EPA is not. What they say about the health problems associated with mercury horrifies me. “This depends on how much has entered your body, how it entered your body, and how long you have been exposed. Exposure to even small amounts of mercury over a long period may cause negative health effects including damage to the brain, kidney, lungs and a developing fetus. Brief contact with high levels of mercury can cause immediate health effects including loss of appetite, fatigue, insomnia and changes in behavior or personality.” Amazing info. It gets even worse. This is their protocol for handling mercury spills.
All mercury spills, regardless of quantity, should be treated seriously. If you have a broken mercury containing device or an elemental mercury spill in your home, contact the Illinois Department of Public Health at 888/522-1282 immediately for cleanup procedures.
Do
- Leave the area if you are not involved in the cleanup.
- Open windows and doors to ventilate the area.
- Collect very small amounts of mercury with adhesive tape or an eyedropper. Store it in a sealed plastic container for transport to a household hazardous waste collection.
Do Not
- Use a vacuum cleaner to clean up mercury. A vacuum cleaner will spread mercury vapors and tiny droplets and increase the area of contamination.
Let me give you just three quick examples. We had Wal-Mart deliver three trucks of water, trailer trucks of water. FEMA turned them back. They said we didn’t need them. This was a week ago. FEMA–we had 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel on a Coast Guard vessel docked in my parish. The Coast Guard said, “Come get the fuel right away.” When we got there with our trucks, they got a word. “FEMA says don’t give you the fuel.” Yesterday–yesterday–FEMA comes in and cuts all of our emergency communication lines. They cut them without notice. Our sheriff, Harry Lee, goes back in, he reconnects the line. He posts armed guards on our line and says, “No one is getting near these lines.” Sheriff Harry Lee said that if America–American government would have responded like Wal-Mart has responded, we wouldn’t be in this crisis.
In 2000, the CDC met with pharmaceutical companies and the FDA in secret to review its findings linking Thimerosal with the dramatic rise in neurological illnesses. According to transcripts, participants were alarmed about the undeniable links between the Thimerosal and widespread brain damage in children. Dr. Bill Weil told the group, ”You can play with [the results] all you want. They are statistically significant.” Dr. Richard Johnston admitted he feared his grandchild getting a Thimerosal-containing vaccine. But the group was most concerned with keeping the findings secret. ”Consider this embargoed information,” said Dr. Roger Bernier, a senior director at the National Immunization Program, at the meeting’s close. The CDC now says it has ”lost” the data that supported the crucial study and has persistently defied congressional requests and federal law requiring it to open up the federal Vaccine Safety Database to scientists and the public.
A loving grandmother and president of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Renee Jenkins is among those in medicine, in government, in the media, pretty much telling parents this problem’s been solved…there is no mercury in the routine schedule of childhood vaccines anymore, except maybe just “trace” amounts. She’s talking about a mercury-based vaccine preservative called Thimerosal…and the truth is there’s still as much as ever in 11 vaccines including most flu vaccines injected into pregnant women and kids, and some of them younger than 9 get two doses in a season. And also high levels of mercury from Thimerosal in tetanus shots and the boosters routinely injected into 11-year-olds…and also in some meningitis and diphtheria-tetanus formulas, too.
Heidi Scheer/Mother of Autistic Child: …and I know for a fact people that have gone to their physician and have been told there was no Thimerosal in their vaccine, then the parents asked to see the package insert and they find it there.
All true, but intriguing nonetheless. I also found a family medical practice in Chicago called Homefirst that has thousands of never-vaccinated children as patients. According to its medical director, Mayer Eisenstein, he’s aware of only one case of autism and one case of asthma among those kids — not the 1 in 150 and 1 in 10 that are the national averages for those disorders — and he has the medical records to prove it.

I have met at least three people who are relatives of someone who has received a vaccine and then become autistic. (according to the people I have met).
On the subject of Mercury, I have seen workers with Ayurvedic medicines work with exposed Mercury, and they have done this for years and sometimes decades with no ill effects. Ayurvedic mineral medicines are heavily dependent on Mercury, Most of the time it is all evaporated, it is always purified and combined with Sulphur.
But it is NEVER injected. It is the injecting that bypasses all of the body’s defences! The mind boggles when considering doing this to a baby.

Thx for an excellent article. I am getting so angry with those idotic marionet clowns doing the new world orders bidding. I wish i could get my hands on them and i would inject all of them with all the vaccines they require all the babies to have. Yeah and they are advertising that damn medicine from hell Gardasil here in Finland. They even call people ang suggests their daughters take it. New World Order Supremacists I Declare War At You. No Mercy Will Be Given.

The more you look at health issues the more you find a policy of systematic poisoning to boost Big Pharma profit’s. It’s across the board from household items to food to medicine to water to air. They don’t miss a trick to ensure patients for life and an illness for every pill. We have a Health system judged on how many patients it treats, not how many it cures. It’s ridiculous. Then there’s Dentist’s, more mercury and fluoride. Then you hear about how AIDS and SARS are Racial specific weapons made in Labs. Bird Flu being deliberately weaponised and also probably created. Cancer being treatable, chemotherapy kills you, BO an advertsing invention…. I mean it goes on and on. We are under sustained attack by out Governments and their mob enforcer’s. The question is, what are we going to do about it.
July 28, 2008 at 7:21 am
What are we going to do about it ?
My mother tells me that I nearly became autistic when I got my first DPRT shot at two years old. I spiked a fever of 105, but she brought me around with cold yogurt. Thanks Mom!
My kids aren’t going to be vaccinated, except with tetanus anti-toxin, which actually works. If anyone tries to vaccinate your kids, here’s what you do:
You get you a knife or a baseball bat or a gun and start stabbing, bashing, or shooting them until they stop. Problem solved! If everyone does this, there won’t be anyone around who wants to poison our kids before long. If you won’t use deadly force to protect your baby, maybe your line ought to go retarded or extinct.

Thank you for bringing this information to your site.
Many well meaning medical doctors and dentists have been hood winked into following the “party line” regarding the safety of Hg espoused by the leaders in their respective professions. And so the public has followed their advice. However, there are some of us who many years ago recognized the toxic effects of Hg on the human nervous system. We tried to bring the bad news of the effects of Hg to our colleagues, only to be villified. In order for Hg to be banned from being placed in human beings in any form, the public must revolt against its use. The professional community will not stop its use. Trust me, I know.

Along with EM radiation, which, unsurprisingly, seriously aggravates heavy metal poisoning, I’d put this as the no1 public health issue of our times. Thanks for this article which I’ve posted at:

Get the mercury out
The Baltimore Examiner Newspaper
2008-07-28
BALTIMORE -
EPA failure to reduce mercury from cement kilns puts us at risk and hurts business. But self-proclaimed environmental activists should not delude us that rigid enforcement will do much immediately to protect health.
Environmental Integrity Project and Earthjustice charge that the nation’s 150 kilns, including two in Maryland, expose us to at least 23,000 pounds of mercury a year. High doses of this heavy element cause a wide array of physical and mental diseases. It accumulates up the food chain, especially in fish. It harms babies in the womb. No one knows the dangers of long-term, low-level human exposure. Odds are, it’s bad.
EPA’s decade of dawdling is inexcusable, but activists’ efforts to push the agency merely shine a light on the universal immensity of the problem. Screeching about saving Earth from mercury is ludicrous. According to the Tennessee Valley Authority, the planet itself accounts for 40 percent of emissions.
Of humanity’s 60 percent contribution, Asia spews out half. The U.S. accounts for only 3 to 5 percent, and the EPA estimates a third of that is from coal power. TVA reported, “Mercury … can travel great distances in the atmosphere … a global problem that knows no national or continental boundaries.”
So, burning coal is overwhelmingly the biggest culprit. Who burns the most coal and makes the most cement? China, says the U.S. Geological Survey. China also emits more mercury due to primitive pollution-control technology.
Even if we could get all our cement kilns to zero, it would not reduce aggregate measurable health risks. It might even push more production to unregulated havens, which would emit even more mercury.
This shows the quandary of regulation. For example, one source of U.S. kiln mercury is disposal of ash scrubbed — due to regulations — from coal power. But the most important thing it shows is the opportunity for another technology developed here due to government regulation to become a huge, value-adding industry. That has been the case for 35 years of U.S. environmental technology leadership, first forced on us by President Richard M. Nixon.
China and other booming nations are learning the hard way that pollution is a deferred cost that accrues and compounds, and eventually must be paid. China’s cement production increased almost 40 percent in the last three years, almost entirely in primitive, dirty plants.
Soon they will realize they have to get the mercury out. Let us ensure when they turn to us, we know how.
That is why delaying environmental regulation that forces advanced technology not only puts world health at risk, it hurts business.

Mercury has been set up as the fall guy for the vaccine/autism link. Take it out, autism continues, voila! vaccines don’t cause autism! Such a deal.
Wrong. According to Dr. Russell Blaylock, the clinical research is showing the answers, which of course are being ignored by the FDA, a branch office of Big Pharma. In particular, when vaccines are administered at birth, the baby’s immune system does not switch over to out-of-womb operations. Subsequent vaccinations, loaded with excitotoxins and chemicals, then begin to cause the brain to fire wildly and randomly, and also cause disruption of the process of forming brain connections. The brain grows a lot in the first two years, and this is why Europe doesn’t vaccinate until age 2. Imagine the baby with their brain going crazy, while they are trying to learn. Imagine having the neural connections wither or not be made. Anytime they might be calming down, time for another shot! It never ends.
Autism, or Spectrum Aurism Disorder, is the damaging of a part of the brain. Which part, or parts, determines how bad the autism is.
It has nothing to do with mercury.
To correct, supplementation and inflammation reduction is required. It can be done. Inflammation from vaccines fire our brains all our lives, can effect you decades after the shot, and may be the cause of most degenerative diseases on the planet.
Now, coming from an industry that annually overstates flu deaths by a factor of 30 or more (they use the same silly lie, 36,000 annually), one has to wonder beyond the profitmaking potential of these massive lies.

I can’t believe this, but I think there are many adults who grow up that cannot read. There was this other dumbass who commented on Soy Blues who tried to match me or something, “named” go check your sources. It’s like you put even the gvernment’s own admissions in, for example, soy is linked to this problem, and they think that just because they say it’s so, with bad sources, not addressing any of the points made, people are supposed to believe them. He must work at Fox news or something.

Thimerosal, mercury, heavy metals, excitotoxins, neurotoxins – wake up America – these chemical agents are hurting us and our babies! How can anyone convince himself that injecting mercury into an infant is okay is beyond me. Somehow doctors, big Pharma, etc. manage to convince themselves that mercury, one of the most toxic poisions known to man, is okay to inject into human tissue. I don’t get it!
July 29, 2008 at 1:04 pm
On the offchance the inappropriate comment above by Stefan was directed at my post, perhaps I need to clarify – I am not saying mercury is good, I am saying that the processess that have been clinically identified to cause the Spectrum Autism Disorder are not dependent upon the presence of mercury. Vaccines are loaded with so much s**t, that should not be a surprise. Mercury is ideal for many years of confusion and misdirection. Bad stuff? Sure. Avoid it? You bet.
Do you trust the government? And the FDA is a branch office of Big Pharma, so a little misdirection to avoid massive liability and allow the charade to continue would not be out of the question. At least one of us has an open mind about finding out the truth. A nice article, but perhaps playing into their hands just a little? One technique of disinformation is to lambaste and put down the messenger, but not rebut anything specifically (since you can’t). So, whose side are you on?
Show a little class.
In any event, the vaccine theory has never been proven, that I have heard.
July 29, 2008 at 1:26 pm
And to think that they want all of us to use mercury filled light blubs?
Good article, I think that perhaps they want people have autism so that they’d be able to control them better?!

July 31, 2008 at 10:28 am
To call the Poling case “an historic admission by the US government that vaccines cause autism” and say that the Department of Health & Human Services conceded this is a gross mischaracterization of the case.
To quote Steven Novella, “The case was removed as a test case – it was not decided as a test case. The HSS agreed that “compensation was appropriate” – they specifically did not concede, as Dr. Poling implies, that vaccines were actually responsible for Hannah Poling’s autism. What the HHS did not do was rule that this case sets a precedent for any other case. It seems that Dr. Poling is suggesting that the Autism Omnibus cheated – they removed a case they knew would set a precedent they apparently did not want. But wasn’t the whole point of the test cases to be test cases?”
July 31, 2008 at 12:54 pm
Just a note to readers of the above comment, in the third or so paragraph, this Novella person says he doesn’t research vaccines or autism. But he only includes articles from others who have said that the link between vaccines and autism isn’t real. Unwilling to do basic research on the topic and yet puts out all this wordage like he’s supposed to be believed? Case closed there. That’s just my opinion. And throws his title around, like people are supposed to believe him on the basis of that alone.
July 31, 2008 at 10:15 pm
Your response to Steven Novella’s article is to ignore ALL OF THE EVIDENCE presented and to straw man my position and his into a mere argument from authority. Novella is not telling you to “believe him”, nor am I. I presented his article because it addresses the evidence, and at the end of the day, the evidence stands or falls on its own merits.
Now the following information is not meant as a substitute for an argument but rather to clarify the ad hominem attacks of the author of this blog. Steven Novella is an academic clinical neurologist at Yale University School of Medicine. Novella does not research vaccines or autism PROFESSIONALLY. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t researched the issues or was “unwilling to do basic research on the topic.” Indeed, if one has to have researched the issue professionally, then the author of this blog should concede that his own opinions should be equally invalid or be guilty of inconsistency. If you think you know more about the subject than Steven Novella, by all means comment on his blog ( http://www.theness.com/neurologicablog/?p=341 ) with your rebuttals. You’d be hard pressed to find someone more knowledgeable about the facts and the positions of both sides of this debate than Steven Novella. That is why I and Mike (the commenter above me) cited Steven Novella as sources.
August 1, 2008 at 12:49 am
Academic degrees mean nothing, man. Only facts. Oh, you aren’t qualified because you haven’t told the system what it wants to hear and gotten a piece of paper for it. Yeah, glad I am of that.
I can tell already you haven’t fully done your work and looked at all the sources in this article. Please do so to keep it balanced. And shouting ad hominem all day like your friend Mike is no substitute for facts. If you won’t look at the sources, that’s fine, but if you think I or anyone with a brain will think that you are anything resembling valid for continuing to be that way, you got another thing coming, my friend.
August 1, 2008 at 10:11 am
Here’s my response to your unresearched rant on my blog at: http://skepacabra.wordpress.com/2008/08/01/news-from-around-the-blogosphere-73108/
Total straw man. Again, you’ve either never bothered to study the scientific consensus on this issue or you are being deliberately dishonest. OF COURSE MERCURY IS DANGEROUS! No one is saying it’s not. That’s not the argument. It’s also a total non-sequitur as it has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with the claim that Thimerosal in vaccines causes or contributes to autism.
And without even presenting even one piece of evidence you’re declaring, oh, he just can’t be convinced no matter what the evidence says. I’m calling BS. You haven’t presenting any evidence for your claim. Now you’re committing yet another logical fallacy, argument from conspiracy theory. If you want to make the charge that all the medical experts that disagree with you are in on a massive conspiracy, you’re going to have to back it up with facts. And since, you were so quick to dismiss Dr. Novella because his specialty is not in vaccines or autism, what exactly would give you the impression that he’s been paid off by “the industry” other than you simply don’t like his conclusions. Well, too bad. How do I know the medical scientists defending vaccines are honest? How do you know your experts aren’t on the take? This is a lame rationalization to dismiss anyone who disagrees with your position and it doesn’t remotely address THE EVIDENCE. For instance, anti-vacciners like David Kirby predicted that since their hypothesis was that Thimerosal caused/contributed to autism that if we removed it from vaccines, the rate of autism would drop dramatically. A perfectly logical assumption. Well, after Thermerosal was removed from most vaccines in Scandinavia and Canada in the 90’s and from vaccines in the U.S. 2002, the rate of autism has not dropped at all. In fact, in California, autism even increased after removing it. The only logical conclusion: Thimerosal is not responsible for the perceived increase in autism. Even if all the medical experts were all part of a massive evil conspiracy to poison children just because they’re evil, that still wouldn’t get anti-vacciners off the hook. This is a red herring argument.
“From time to time, rumors circulate that thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative once used in several vaccines (and still used in some flu vaccine), could contribute to ASDs. However, valid scientific studies have shown there is no link. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Medical Association (AMA), the CDC, and the Institute of Medicine (IOM) agree that science does not support a link between thimerosal in vaccines and autism.” -American Academy of Pediatrics (http://www.aap.org/healthtopics/Immunizations.cfm)
“The author concludes that recent studies have found no association between MMR vaccination and autism. The frequent embryologic neuroanatomic abnormalities found in children with autism lessen the likelihood that MMR immunization is a major risk factor. The Immunization Safety Review Committee of the Institute of Medicine and a special American Academy of Pediatrics panel have concluded that evidence does not support MMR immunization as a risk factor for autism.” -RICHARD SADOVSKY, M.D., American Academy of Family Physicians (http://www.aafp.org/afp/20020301/tips/14.html)
“On May 18th, 2004, the Institute of Medicine (IOM) released its eighth and final report from its Immunization Safety Review Committee. Based on a thorough review of clinical and epidemiological studies, neither the mercury-based vaccine preservative thimerosal nor the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine are associated with autism, says the new report. Furthermore, the hypotheses regarding how the MMR vaccine and thimerosal could trigger autism lack supporting evidence and are theoretical only. Further research to find the cause of autism should be directed toward other lines of inquiry that are supported by current knowledge and evidence and offer more promise for providing an answer, said the committee that wrote the report. The American Medical Association (AMA) lauds the process that went into the creation of this scientific report and applauds the IOM and the CDC for their strong efforts in continuing to ensure the safety of the vaccines that are administered in the United States through post-market surveillance and studies such as this.” -American Medical Association (http://www.ama-assn.org/ama/pub/category/13703.html”
“Some people believe increased exposure to thimerosal (from the addition of important new vaccines recommended for children) explains the higher prevalence in recent years. However, evidence from several studies examining trends in vaccine use and changes in autism frequency does not support such an association. Furthermore, a scientific review* by the Institute of Medicine (IOM) concluded that “the evidence favors rejection of a causal relationship between thimerosal-containing vaccines and autism.” CDC supports the IOM conclusion.” –Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (http://www.cdc.gov/vaccinesafety/concerns/thimerosal.htm)
“There is much debate regarding the correlation of childhood vaccines and the occurrence of autism in children. The weight of currently available scientific evidence does not support the hypothesis that vaccines cause autism. We recognize there is considerable public interest in this issue.” -U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Resources (http://www.hhs.gov/autism/)

And another debate I had with his friend Mike, who says he works for a vaccine company.

Interesting. Putting up the url of Novella’s post where I didn’t even say anything, nor did he make any reference to me whatsoever after my last comment. Instead of the one where I did. It’s triick after trick with you. Consider a job with the Obama campaign. As far as the topic of vaccs, I’ve already put my info out. People can make their own decisions based on what they’ve read on both sides of the debate themselves. It’s not my job to convince them anymore. Case closed.

You came to my blog and posted the link to this article. I posted the following comment right after it. Thought I should put it here too:
“Interesting how the link between autism and vaccinations is coincidental. Autism is identified when development is not normal. All these developments take place during the normal childhood immunization schedule. Though, is there a definitive link between autism and heavy metal toxins? No.

the CURE for vaccine induced autism for up to seven years of age is to use the device known as Q2 Enery Spa or Aqua Chi. (forget the copies) after 14 years of age you unfortunately have to live with what modern medicine created for you… the effects are now permanent.

If anyone could make any sense out of that, feel free to interpret please.
