Paulson, Bernanke call for financial institutional regulatory overhaul – Paulson and Bernanke, testifying before Congress, using the Bear Stearns. (which was deliberately broken through Federal Reserve member bank and part owner Goldman Sachs) Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac havoc, asked for emergency powers to regulate investment banks and other financial institutions. The Commissioner of the FDA attended a Red Cross Board meeting and threatened criminal charges if they wouldn’t stop being so lax with blood quality control procedures.
