A row has broken out over allegations of antisemitism at the New York Times, America’s most vaunted name in journalism and a newspaper with a large Jewish readership.

The storm centres on a column about Jews in Iran written by New York Times journalist Roger Cohen and a cartoon attacking the recent war in Gaza.

The newspaper, and Cohen in particular, has been accused of being too critical of Israel and an apologist for Iran and its leader, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Cohen’s column was written from Iran about the country’s small Jewish minority. His piece acknowledged the difficulties the group experienced and portrayed them as part of an Iranian society that he said was more tolerant, democratic and sophisticated than many American critics allowed.

Such sentiments might seem uncontroversial, but in America no one touching on issues around Israel or antisemitism escapes close scrutiny. Cohen was attacked by Jewish writers and bloggers. The Jerusalem Post dubbed him “misled”, while the Atlantic Monthly called him “credulous”. Others went much further. “The Nazis had Theresienstadt, their ‘model’ concentration camp used to ‘persuade’ the gullible that Jews and others who aroused the ire of the Nazis were being treated well. Would Roger Cohen have had no problem portraying that favourably as well?” fumed writer Ed Lasky on the American Thinker website.

Cohen said he was stunned by the vehemence of the response, an impression exacerbated when he visited exiled Iranian Jews in California and was abusively heckled. “I was surprised at the anger and intensity of the reaction … I expected a reaction but did not expect it to blow up into a whole furore,” Cohen said.

Perhaps part of the reason for the intensity of the attack is the fact that he is Jewish himself. “I think it’s partly my name. The ’self-hating Jew’ things can come to the surface in some of the responses,” he said. Another reason is that the column appeared in the Times, which many media experts hardly see as a fierce critic of Israel, given its home audience. “As soon as I read the column I thought a lot of people would be unhappy,” said Jack Lule, a journalism professor at Lehigh University.

The debate over Cohen’s piece came as the Times published Pat Oliphant’s cartoon, which shows a headless figure goose-stepping and pushing a snarling Star of David in front of it. The figure is herding a woman carrying a child labelled Gaza to the edge of a cliff. The cartoon also appeared in the Washington Post, Slate and other publications. It caused instant outrage among Jewish groups. “It is cartoons like this that inspired millions of people to hate in the 1930s and help set the stage for the Nazi genocide,” said a statement from the Simon Wiesenthal Centre.

Americans can’t expect to avoid destruction as long as they continue to embrace Communism in all its myriad disguises.

Symptomatic of the problem is a new four hr. 17 min biopic of Soviet Comintern agent and terrorist Che Guevara. Rather than make movies about genuine American heroes, Hollywood is celebrating people dedicated to the destruction of Western Civilization.

Movie critic Mick LaSalle of the San Francisco Chronicle cannot understand why Director Steven Soderbergh made the movie:

“If Soderbergh made as idol-worshiping an epic about George Washington or Abraham Lincoln – actual heroes with tangible, positive legacies – people would gag at the naive treatment.. Instead of making the case for Guevara as a hero, Soderbergh just assumes we all agree. The movie is the communist guerrilla version of the Stations of the Cross, in which we see Guevara at various stages, enduring various hardships. The invitation is not to think but to admire, and maybe to worship.”

This is not the first time Hollywood has presented this ruthless killer as a saint.  In 1969, Omar Sharif played “the most controversial rebel of our time” with Jack Palance as Castro. Then, there was “The Motorcycle Diaries” in 2004 and at least a half-dozen made-for-TV films.

Communists always portray their demented drive for world domination in terms of serving the people. Surprisingly, many suckers swallow this bait. But, why do these dupes include the US corporate media establishment?

WHY THE MEDIA (AND EDUCATION) SOFT-PEDAL COMMUNISM

The US mass media (and most corporations) are controlled by the central banking cartel, i.e. the Rothschilds, Warburgs, Rockefellers etc. These are the same people who sponsored Communism.

The guiding principle behind world events is their plan to translate their monopoly over government credit into a world monopoly of power, business, culture and religion.

These bankers use a Hegelian dialectic to achieve their end. They created both Capitalism and Communism as thesis and antithesis.  Their aim is a synthesis, combining the political and cultural tyranny of Communism with the appearance of Capitalist free markets. China or even Cuba may be the end model for the New World Order.

In 1953, Ford Foundation President, H. Rowan Gaither told Congressional Investigator Norman Dodd that his instructions were to use “our grant-making power so to alter our life in the United States that we can be comfortably merged with the Soviet Union.”

This is why the Communist Party term “political correctness” has become part of our lexicon.  Why the elite media and foundations promote feminism, homosexuality, pornography and promiscuity to destabilize society. Why they sponsor “diversity” to undermine American identity. Why the education system is devoted to Leftist indoctrination; and conservatives have been driven out. Why the culture industries are dedicated to sex, violence, alienation, deviance and the occult. We’ll never know what we have missed in terms of cultural works that boost our sense of who we are and where we should be going.

Eustace Mullins relates this story: Early in his career, a NY publisher (who are all banker controlled) told his agent that it’s too bad Mullins had decided to go against them. Look at the success they arranged for such “high school” talents as Hemingway, Steinbeck and
Faulkner. Unfortunately, Mullins would be consigned to the wilderness.

Rupert Murdoch, whose media operations are subsidized by the Rothschilds, said last week, “We are in the midst of a phase of history in which nations will be redefined and their futures fundamentally altered.”

Such anecdotes confirm that we are being dispossessed and prepared for servitude. Our culture, most of our assumptions about the world, are controlled by the central bankers.

GUEVARA, CASTRO AND THE CUBAN REVOLUTION

Fidel Castro came to power in Cuba only because of the covert help of New World orderlies in the US State Dept. and mass media. They cut off arm sales to Batista while at the same time allowing Castro to be supplied, partly by Russian submarines. This told the Cuban military which way the wind was blowing and they quietly defected.

This is the conclusion of Nataniel Weyl in “Red Star Over Cuba” (1962, p.152) Weyl was a Communist in the 1930’s and knew the top leaders of the Cuban Communist Party. He actually worked for the central bankers at one time, as Latin American research chief for the Federal Reserve System. He is one of many Jews who recognized Communism as a dangerous ruse and devoted his life to exposing Comintern subversion in Latin America.

Weyl says that both Ernesto Guevera and Fidel Castro were cultivated and trained as Soviet agents as teenagers. Guevara, an Argentine, was liaison between the Soviet espionage network and the Castro forces who masqueraded as an indigenous force. In fact, they were largely bankrolled and supplied by the Soviet Union.

“Fidel’s secret weapon was money—incredible millions of dollars, with which he bought “victories.” He bought entired regiments from Batista’s officers and, on one occasion, purchased for $650,000 cash an entired armored train, with tanks, guns, ammunition, jeeps and 500 men.” (p.141)

“The Cuban forces themselves never won a military victory,” US Ambassador Earl Smith later testified. The basic reason for the defeat of Batista’s army was that covert US intervention shattered their morale.(152)

Rothschild-dominated Freemasonry was probably also a factor. Communism is a Masonic order, and both Castro and Guevara were masons. (Other Freemasons include Stalin, Trotsky, Lenin and most Presidents incl. Barrack Obama. ) Freemasonry is big in Cuba: there is a 15- story Grand Lodge of Cuba HQ in Havana.

According to Humberto Fantova’s “Che! Hollywood’s Favorite Tyrant”, Guevara was complicit in the execution of 10,000 Cubans after the revolution: He was “a bloodthirsty executioner, a military bumbler, a coward, and a hypocrite…it’s no exaggeration to state that Che… was the godfather of modern terrorism. And yet Che’s followers naively swallow Castro’s historical revisionism. They are classic “useful idiots.” the name Stalin gave to foolish Westerners who parroted his lies…”

Nat Hentoff met Che at the United Nations and asked “this idealist” — “Can you conceive — however far into the future — a time when there will be free elections in Cuba?”

“Not waiting for his interpreter, Guevara broke into laughter at my naively ignorant question. He made it clear that I had no understanding of a true people’s revolution, firmly guided by Maximum Leader Castro.”

If the Cuban Communists were sponsored by the central bankers, how do we account for the  CIA’s Bay of Pigs invasion? This failure was probably designed to enhance Castro’s image and reinforce the Hegelian dialectic.  If the US could go to Vietnam “for the sake of democracy,” it certainty could have invaded Cuba officially. The debacle opened the door for the missile crisis and the assassination of Kennedy, both part of the agenda.

How do we account for the CIA’s killing of Guevara? He had served his purpose and was worth more dead than alive.

CONCLUSION

The Rothschilds and Rockefellers must be laughing up their sleeves at the young rebels who embrace Che Guevera as a symbol of social justice and equality. In fact, Communism is the mirror image of Western imperialism, benefiting the same people.

Communism is devoted to the concentration of all wealth in the hands of the central bankers. In theory, the wealth is “public” but in fact, the bankers own and control the State.

Guevara helped establish a Communist regime that may be a harbinger for Obama’s America. Yes, the people are all equal — dirt poor.  Yes, they get free education and health care but education is indoctrination and people cannot toil for nothing if they are sick. Their MD’s get $20 a month. The people are paid in idealistic platitudes.

Essentially, you have a prosperous island (oil, nickel, tobacco, coffee) with a large labor force that works for a pittance. All the wealth seems to flow to the Communist nomenklatura and their sponsors.  Secret police are everywhere and no one can say a word against the regime.

This is where we are heading when we tolerate a government full of New World Orderlies (Communists) and mass media that venerate their ruthless agents. To them we are “useless eaters.” Throughout history the privileges the masses have enjoyed have been the exception, not the rule. We are gradually reverting to the norm.

Obama’s “Change” is code for the Communist NWO. This is what is meant by “Progressive.” Leftists who want to “change the world” are not told it is going to be much worse. They are destroying the society that gave them freedom and prosperity; they are “change agents” for poverty and dictatorship.

The fact that no one asks where the borrowed trillions are coming from proves that our society is complicit in its own destruction. You see. the government doesn’t need to borrow from the Rothschilds. It can create money out of thin air itself. That’s all the Rothschilds do.

Never has a society embraced its own demise with such blissful indifference.

Polish government has reduced official number of Jews killed at Auschwitz from 4 to 1 million

Poland Agrees to Change Auschwitz Tablets

After 50 years of deflecting the requests of Jewish groups, the Polish Government has agreed to change the wording on stone tablets at Auschwitz and Birkenau, the adjacent Nazi camps where more than one million Jews died during World War II.

The move follows decades of appeals by Jewish groups, who say the current plaques do not fully reflect the suffering of Jews there and focus too heavily on the camp’s non-Jewish victims. While thousands of non-Jews were among the estimated 1.5 million killed at Auschwitz, the victims were predominantly Jewish.

“This is an historic event, not just for Poland, but for the whole world,” said Kalman Sultanik, a New Yorker who is vice chairman of the international council set up by the Polish Government for Auschwitz’s preservation.

“The Communists didn’t do it, but finally it is done,” said Mr. Sultanik, who is a survivor of three concentration camps. “Fewer and fewer survivors live to tell what happened there. This is for posterity.”

Jerzy Wroblewski, the curator of Auschwitz, said the text on the new tablet, to be placed at the main monument at Birkenau, which housed the crematoria, will read:

“In memory of the countless victims of Nazi genocide from Poland and other countries of occupied Europe: Jews, Poles, Gypsies, Soviet prisoners of war and others, who suffered and perished in the camp and in the gas chambers. The world kept silent.

O Earth, cover not up my blood

And let my cry never cease.

Additional tablets will be near the monument, with this inscription translated into 18 languages: “Let this place remain for eternity as a cry of despair, and a warning to humanity. About one and half million men, women, children and infants, mainly Jews from different countries of Europe, were murdered here. The world was silent. Auscwhitz-Birkenau, 1940-1945.”

Mr. Wroblewski said the tablets were expected to be in place within the next several weeks.

The new tablets will replace one with the following inscription: “This is the place of martyrdom and death of four million victims murdered in the Nazi genocide, 1940-45.”

It was previously thought that four million died at the camps. More recent research has revealed the figure to be closer to 1.5 million.

For Jews and Poles, Auschwitz has long been a source of antagonism, with each claiming it as a symbol of their own suffering under the Nazis during the war. More than three million non-Jewish Poles died during the war from starvation, disease, exhaustion or in Nazi death camps. More than six million Jews died.

Auschwitz is one of the few camps that remains intact. At the war’s end, the Nazis, sensing their defeat, destroyed much of the evidence of their death camps. The barracks at Auschwitz, however, reveal the ghastly details of life and death there.

The preserved camp at Auschwitz, designed as a museum under the former Communist governments, emphasizes Nazi atrocities toward Soviet citizens during the war. One barracks displays rows and rows of framed photos of Poles who died there. Jews, gypsies and homosexuals — all slated for genocide — are represented as secondary victims.

Only one barracks near the exit honors the Jewish dead. Financed by several Jewish organizations, it includes photographs, identification cards and other memorabilia donated by survivors and others in a stark, dimly lit hall.

In 1989, groups of Jewish demonstrators gathered to protest the placement of a Roman Catholic convent adjacent to the camp. The convent has since been moved, but only after a bitter dispute that included angry statements by Jozef Cardinal Glemp, the Catholic primate of Poland, about Jews controlling the press.

Before World War II, about 10 percent of Poland’s population of 35 million were Jews. It was Europe’s largest concentration of Jews. Now, only a few thousand remain. While more and more people are discovering Jewish roots, it is thought the average age of most Jews here is 70.

A bright green stone found inside a fossilized leather bag buried with an Egyptian toddler. The green stone likely had great magical significance for the ancient Egyptians.

A rare mummified child from the early period of Egyptian history was discovered buried with a bright green amulet stone once believed to hold magical powers, according to a new study.

The finds help to explain why hieroglyphics and historical texts record that Egyptian children wore green eye makeup. It also adds to the growing body of evidence that ancient Egyptians thought color itself held sacred energy that could help or hurt individuals.

Lead author Raffaella Bianucci explained that the first Egyptian colored amulets occurred as early as the predynastic Badarian period, from 4500 to 3800 B.C. The recently analyzed child mummy, containing the remains of a 15- to 18-month-old toddler, dates to 4,700 years ago.

“Even in limited forms and materials, these earliest amulets give a good indication of the dangerous forces that the early Egyptians felt were present in their world and needed to be harnessed by magical means,” said Bianucci, a scientist in the Department of Animal and Human Biology at Via Accademia Albertina in Turin, Italy.

She and her colleagues first examined the child’s remains, which were wrapped in linen bandages. Immunological evidence determined that the youngster died from an acute malarial infection.

The researchers then turned their attention to a fossilized leather bag tied with linen twine, which was wrapped in the bandages with the mummy. Two stones were found within the bag. The researchers focused on a bright green one, found poking through the fossilized leather.

Powerful X-rays, as well as scanning electron microscope analysis, revealed that the stone was chrysocolla, or hydrated copper silica, according to the paper that will be published in the March issue of the Journal of Archaeological Science. To this day, chrysocolla is valued as an ornamental stone that, in its bluer forms, is sometimes confused with turquoise.

Bianucci said malachite was a more common green mineral in early Egypt, since chrysocolla ores were limited to very few in the Sinai and the Eastern Egyptian Desert. Chrysocolla may have been special for children, as archaeologists previously unearthed a small figure of a child made of the green material in another grave.

“In ancient Egypt, color was an integral part of the substance and being of everything in life,” she said, explaining that green — the color of new vegetation and growing crops, including the treasured papyrus plant — was linked to health and “flourishing.” Chapter 30 of the Book of the Dead, an ancient Egyptian funerary text, instructs that a scarab beetle amulet be made of green minerals and placed at the heart of mummies.

Bianucci continued that, based on such records, red was the color of life and victory, white suggested omnipotence and purity, black was a symbol of death and the night, blue symbolized life and rebirth and yellow was thought to be eternal and indestructible, like the sun and gold.

In terms of the child mummy’s green amulet, she said, “We can hypothesize that (the parents) wished their child to be protected from unwanted influence and to be healthy in its afterlife.”

Salima Ikram, a professor of Egyptology at the American University in Cairo, told Discovery News that “the study was very well executed” and “is just what we need to shed light on the cultural practices and beliefs of the ancient Egyptians.”

“The fact that the child was buried with a chrysocolla bead is very interesting as it is rare to have such an identification,” Ikram added. “Clearly this was an amulet that was interred with the child in an effort to ensure its safety in the afterworld — a pity it did not protect the infant in this one.”
